UHF/VHF Nets

I tend to frequent nets on GB3BN, GB3RD, GB3AL, S15 and SU22.

Introduced to the absolute joy of working on 4 metres.  The friendly band for sure. 

And I've helped RADARC sell a few radios for this band and spread the love for 4m to Wokingham and Cambridgeshire!

SSB phone contacts worked on 80, 40, 20 and 10 metres. Many on 10 watts and more recently at 50 watts .. it's amazing when you answer a QRZ and they acknowledge your callsign - it never gets old especially when operating QRP.

Contacts made across 61 countries.

Portable

I want to try a bit more portable operating but nothing too strenous - somewhere comfortable outside, near facilities with something nice to eat :).

I've had one experience so far with my friend Colin M0XCA using his super Xiegu X6100 and my portable MyDEL JPC-12; and more lately with my IC-705 and a 9:1 End fed wire antenna.
